Aluminum
and Brass for sale
One of my customers says:
"I can get 6061 aluminum
round bar solids 2" to 8" diameter, mostly 1" to 3" thick, but
occasionally longer. I also occasionally come across aluminum
plate of various sizes, and small quantities of 1" dia. brass rods about 12" long.
I would imagine a lot of hobby machinists might be interested in being
able to purchase material of this sort at moderate prices.
I am willing to sell this material in mixed sizes, @ $4/lb., plus
shipping.
(NOTE: The US Post Offic has a one-rate carton that measures
about 12"x12"x6" . Whatever will fit in this carton,
regardless of weight, they will deliver
anywhere in the lower 48 states for about $8.10.)
