This was our first video! Not serious how-to instruction, but you'll probably get some good ideas from it. You'll see the general arrangement of my shop, as well as get an up-close look at some shop-made cutters, and tools such as my 3.75"ø rotary table, dividing head, Octopus, Tinker, etc. You'll also see a ball being cut with my incremental cut method.
The scene then shifts to the well equipped shop of 83-year old master machinist Bill Fenton, where you will see several of his model steam engines, and the amazing array of tools and other items that he acquired or made over a period of 50 or 60 years. The video ends with one of Bill's anecdotes that's guaranteed to crack you up. Approx 1-1/2 hrs running time.
(Note: some months after this video was made, Bill sold the entire contents of his shop, and moved into a retirement home. He passed away in June of 1995. This video is thus a rare opportunity to see something that will never be again.)
